Samatwam Yog Sewa Trust established its Gaushala near the DND Flyover, Delhi, in 2025, with the capacity to provide shelter and care for 2,000 cows. Created with the vision of protecting and preserving indigenous cattle, our Gaushala serves as a safe and compassionate home for abandoned, injured, stray, elderly, and rescued cows.
Our primary mission is to ensure that every cow receives proper nutrition, clean shelter, regular veterinary care, and a life of dignity. We are committed to rescuing cows from unsafe conditions, providing rehabilitation, and ensuring their long-term well-being through dedicated care and medical attention.
Rescue & Rehabilitation
Cows in unsafe conditions are rescued, treated, and given time and care to recover before being settled into the shelter.
Veterinary Care
Regular veterinary attention and nutrition, so age or injury never means being left without care.
Breed Conservation & Organic Farming
We promote the conservation of indigenous Indian cattle breeds through ethical breeding practices, alongside organic farming and the responsible use of cow-based natural resources.
A Day at the Gaushala
Shelters are cleaned and fresh water is set out before the morning feed.
Morning feeding — fodder, grain, and supplements suited to each cow's age and health.
Veterinary rounds — routine checks, and closer attention for any rescued or recovering cow.
Second feeding, shelters resettled for the night, and a final welfare check.
